Winning or Losing?
It was funny for a while, then it became interesting and now it’s just plain boring! I am referring of course to the bat-shit crazy rantings of one Charlie Sheen. When I first watched his Youtube videos I thought he was playing some sort of character based on himself. However when it continued and morphed into a travelling stage show I began to wonder if Charlie was playing into some people’s need to see the rich and famous go down in flames, or if his brain had finally disconnected itself from reality as a result of years of hardcore drug use.
In the final analysis I suppose it’s a lose/lose situation. If he’s merely portraying a fall from stardom Lindsay Lohan is way better at it and he should stick to making mediocre (but popular) TV shows. If he’s come unhinged mentally, then it’s wrong to use him for entertainment purposes! Either way you slice it, it’s pretty much done now and can only end badly.
